Ben Welland

Ben Welland has been a full time professional photographer since 2003, but he first became interested in photography in 1994 at the age of fourteen when he built a black and white darkroom in his basement. He photographed his first wedding in 1997, and he studied photography for two years at Algonquin College, starting in 1998 and earning a diploma in photography in 2000.

Ben now works exclusively as a photographer at byfield-pitman photography and he's a co-owner of the company. He is also an active member of Wedding and Portrait Photographers International as well as Fearless Photographers.
