Veg Fest 2016

Ottawa VEG FEST is a tradition for local foodies, vegetarians and vegans, and the veg-curious alike. Similar events take place all across Canada. 2016 will mark the seventh Ottawa VEG FEST, continuing the fine tradition set out by Veg Fest’s founders, the National Capital Vegetarian Association. Admission is by cash donation … you can give what you can. Proceeds go to support two local causes (see column at right for details). At the 2015 Ottawa Veg Fest, we raised over $9800. Let’s see if we can break that record this year.

We are pleased that the Table Restaurant is back in 2016 as our Gold Sponsor and as an exhibitor … and their executive chef is doing a cooking demonstration. Their generous long-term support for Ottawa Veg Fest is much appreciated.

As always, VEG FEST will feature an impressive line up of informative presentations (this year featuring a critically acclaimed documentary film) and live cooking demonstrations from well known local and visiting chefs both days. As part of a marketplace where more than 80 vendors will promote and sell their healthy products and services, samples of great food will be available. Many popular past vendors will be back, and will be joined by a great number of new companies to discover.
