Before getting started on these fiddlehead recipes, remember to wash the fresh fiddleheads well, then blanch them in boiling water to help remove some of the toxins that can make you feel unwell. Once blanched, drop them into ice cold water. Once cooled, remove, pat dry and you good to use them as you please.
