Teachers Alan Abbey and Derek Brez, were initially inspired to add an aquaponics system to the Sir Guy Carleton Secondary School's 30-year-old greenhouse by a YouTube video. "The video said that aquaponics is simple enough for a 14-year-old to do," Abbey says. "Well, we have access to lots of 14-year-olds."
