Harriet Clunie, above, has returned to Das Lokal Kitchen + Bar where she served as the executive chef when the Lowertown restaurant opened its door in 2013. But this time, she's making some profound changes in direction, including introducing a plant-forward menu.
For her next passion project — after she gets the mental health group and alcohol-free nights off the ground —Clunie wants to create a restaurant association for progressive restaurants that also focus on sustainable, equitable and ethical practices.
