Also launching November 28, at 55 ByWard, Ottawa favourite, Baccanalle, presents, Afrotechture! A one-of-a kind shopping experience in the heart of our Nation’s Capital! Shop and discover curated artisanal goods made by Black Canadian Artisans. Co-Founders and Sisters Resa Solomon-St. Lewis and Tracey Solomon are excited to make this long-held vision a reality. It is truly a community built space with the support of the Marchés d’Ottawa Markets, Black and Local Community businesses and members. Installed for the event is an inspiring mural by renown artist Kalkidan Assefa – not to be missed!
