Just Food Farm Stand Launch
The Just Food Farm in Blackburn Hamlet is abuzz with activity and its farmers are excited to offer this year’s bounty at the Just Food Farm Stand!
Local, fresh, organic vegetables, herbs, honey, and preserves will be among the many offerings at the Just Food Farm Stand at 2389 Pepin Court, across from Tauvette park near the bypass. The Farm Stand launches on Sunday, July 26th and continues every Sunday from 10am-3pm into the fall.
Join farmers on July 26th for a day of fun including farm photos, prize draws, games, and more. There will some delicious foods to sample including honey from Radical Homestead, tasty treats from Nanabush Forest Farm, and wild food from The Wild Garden. Herbivore Farm, Happy Radish Farm, Mediterra Market Garden, Van Vliet Horticulture, and Beat Green's Garden will be showcasing their delicious seasonal veggies grown right in Blackburn Hamlet.
“We are very excited about the Farm Stand this year. We have more farms participating than previous years and we’ve planned a variety of events for the year including a Garlic Festival and Autumn Harvest Festival,” said Corrie Rabbe from Radical Homestead.
