Ottawa Organics began in 2007 with a dozen customers, a handful of local farms, and one employee. Over a decade later, they have grown to provide hundreds of weekly customers with products from over 20 local producers with a hard-working team of eight employees.
The goal at Ottawa Organics is to connect Ottawa residents with food that is local, organic, and vegetarian and to provide organic produce year-round. To reduce impact on the environment. Not only is their organic produce easy on the earth, their delivery service is too. They minimize packaging by delivering your baskets in recycled cardboard boxes and reusable totes, return containers to farmers to re-use again and again, and offer products such as milk and yogurt in glass containers. And they support clean energy by being 100% bullfrog powered.
