The Log Farm

The Log Farm located right in the city, at 670 Cedarview Road in Nepean, is a little hidden treasure of local heritage, a country oasis located right in the middle of today’s busy city. The Log Farm was settled in 1854 by the Bradley family. Our family takes pride in continuing in the Bradley’s footsteps, we currently have three generations working the farm today. The farm offers our guests a glimpse into the past of what a family farm would have been like in the late 1800’s as well as how we currently farm today.

The outdoor public market season runs from May to October (+ Holidays), but the area is alive all year round with dynamic restaurants, artisan groceries, unique retail, and of course street theatre.

Ottawa Street Markets

Ottawa Street Markets began as a community gathering spot on Beechwood Ave, in the City’s east end. In the early days, a few vendors, live music and a doomed bouncy castle attracted people from neighbouring communities. It became immediately apparent that people were after a small, local farmers’ market that was close to home. A market that could be reached easily on foot, a weekly attraction for families and a place to connect with local businesses.

The Beechwood Market was born.
