Local Craft Beer Delivered

You’ve heard of pizza, Greek and Chinese for delivery but what happens when you have a late-night craving for craft beer? Enter Brad Campeau who, as owner of Brew Donkey, made the first delivery of locally brewed craft beer on Nov. 28, 2013 and has since delivered more than 2,000 bottles to Ottawans. Best known for its brewery tours, Brew Donkey also offers more than 80 different types of beer from 15 local breweries as part of its delivery service. Especially popular in the winter, Brew Donkey offers seasonal options such as Ashton Brewing Company’s Vanilla Stout, Dominion City’s Earl Grey Marmalade and Beyond the Pale’s The Darkness. The cost of delivery is $12 for up to nine growlers, for more than nine growlers the cost is $18 with no mark-up on the price of beer. Campeau wants to make craft beer accessible, so he sticks with straight-from-the-brewery pricing.
