10th Anniversary Ravenswing Arts + Music Fair
Ravenswing Ottawa will present the 10th Anniversary Ravenswing Arts + Music Fair on Sunday, May 29 from 11am to 5pm at Minto Park (Elgin and Gilmour). This community event will feature live music, free workshops, food carts and over 70 local artists and artisans. Joining the Ravenswing Arts + Music Fair for a 10th year will be The Clothesline Project, a public art exhibit to end violence against women.
We are proud to have worked with Ottawa’s talented artists, writers and musicians over the past 10 years. To showcase our city’s musical talent, we have created a compilation album of bands, performers and spoken word poets who have performed (or will perform) at the Ravenswing Arts + Music Fair. This unique collection features nearly 30 tracks from local artists, and can be downloaded from the Ravenswing Bandcamp Page.
Come to the 10th Anniversary Ravenswing Arts + Music Fair for a fun day in the park with music from DJ Jonny Yuma.
Live performances will include:
- China Doll (karaoke super-queen)
- Kae Rose (acoustic-indie folk; Ottawa Rock Camp 4 Girls)
- Apollo the Child (slam poetry)
- (acoustic Canadiana roots/folk)
- Final Fall (ambient drone)
- Adam Saikaley (electro synth-jazz)
- Pony Girl (atmospheric indie-pop)
Join us at the 10th Anniversary Ravenswing Arts + Music Fair, where you can meet new people as you learn about healing herbs, get your hands dirty making a temporary graffiti wall and learn a few hip-hop dance moves! More information about the free workshops can be found on our website.
Stop by for lunch available from local food carts including Seed to Sausage and Merry Dairy, and support local arts by browsing the unique, handmade items of over 70 local artists and artisans. You will find such vendors as:

Ravenswing Ottawa is a volunteer-run, self-sustaining grassroots collective that supports and promotes arts, music and community in Centretown Ottawa.
