Founded in the backwoods of Northern Ontario, Copperhead Distillery continutes our founder's legacy of pride + integrity, using traditional distilling methods in each hand-crafted spirit they make. 

For over 40 years Craig Ferchat thrived as an influential entrepreneur, businessman, and innovator. His ultimate dream of founding a distillery was fulfilled in December of 2016 with the opening of Copperhead Distillery. This moment would change the course for his family and would be the beginning of a legacy that will live on forever.

Craig’s ambition, work ethic, and determination are reasons why Copperhead exists today. 

Today, Craig’s wife Sharon and son John Ferchat carry on the family business and continue to expand Copperhead Distillery and keep his dream thriving!

You can now find select Copperhead Spirits in over 100 LCBO Locations or visit the Distillery/Retail Store in Sundridge, ON to explore the full Copperhead line-up of Whisky, Moonshine, Rum, Vodka, and Specialty Spirits like the Famous Apple Pie Moonshine.

Inside the retail store you will find the ever-popular Tasting Bar, open year-round to sample their delicious spirits! If you visit in the warmer months, you can also enjoy a refreshing drink on their new Patio and grab some lunch from The Tattie Shack (opening late May 2023).
