Maverick's began operations in 2016 with one small location in the Nation's Capital. Spending the first 4 years refining its receipes and building a name for itself in Ottawa, the company stood out as being one true 'Maverick' of the city's donut scene. 

A true love of donuts is what sparked the creation of Maverick's Donut Company. The thought of offering fresh donuts made daily was the core principal behind our company's mission and one that they continue to pursue.

What started as a food truck...has become The County's most in-demand café and catering company. Picnic offers a unique menu of fresh and local ingredients, with a focus on delicious food you can enjoy anywhere. Our café serves up picnic-style lunches for good eats on-the-go, and our catering service makes feasts of all kinds – from weddings to wine tours.

Picnic Cafe & Catering is located in beautiful heritage Perth, Ontario. A one minute drive or a 10 min walk from downtown. Serving a fresh, seasonal and interesting menu, made entirely from scratch, in house. They pride themselves in offering something not found anywhere else in Perth. International flavours, gluten free and vegetarian options, delicious baked goods and exceptional coffee. Eat in, or on our seasonal patio or stroll through our onsite vegetable garden in the summer.
