Doing it all for the love of beer has led to New Brewery of the Year in Ontario (2013) and multiple awards at the Canadian and Ontario Brewing Awards.

Small Pony Barrel Works uses barrel-aging to create their small batch sour beers.

Whiprsnapr Brewing Co, in Bells Corner, Ottawa has a play outside, get shit done and have fun attitude.

They definitely do things a little differently. They're on a mission to convert the 95% of Ontarians that still don't drink craft beer. They have a few 'gateway drug beers' in their arsenal to help pull in the fizzy yellow water drinkers, but all of their beers are tasty, interesting and very drinkable.
