Les Fougères

Les Fougères is situated just 14 minutes from downtown Ottawa/Gatineau, in the magnificent Gatineau Hills. Their critically acclaimed cuisine is executed by the chef/proprietors and their team and showcases the best regional produce available. The menu changes with the seasons and the wine list is chosen carefully to complement menu choices. As well as an à la carte menu they also offer a monthly table d'hôte, an 8-course tasting menu, and lunch, brunch, vegetarian and childrens' menus.

Absinthe

A Hintonburg tradition since 2003, serves Farm-to-Table Contemporary Canadian Cuisine. Patrick Garland, Chief Stove Monkey, grew up in the neighbourhood and is proud to make it home to his restaurant.

The restaurant is a modern bistro, using locally sourced ingredients, prepared in an inventive and sophisticated manner. Enjoy the richness of Absinthe cuisine which features meats, cheeses and produce from eastern Ontario and western Quebec, prepared with classical French culinary techniques.
