The Elora Brewing Company transformed a historic limestone building into a food, beer and music destination that’s steeped in tradition and celebrated history. Visit the dining room or on the patio for a farm to table experience. Chef Ryan Goodfellow works with  a network of local farmers and artisan producers to create rotating seasonal menus.

Calabogie Brewing Company

Calabogie Brewing Co. opened in 2015, but the brewery’s story dates back centuries. They proudly named the brewery after the town of its birth, Calabogie, ON – a small town about a hundred kilometres west of Ottawa.

East India Company

In the early 1970s, newcomers to Canada, Kamal and Sudha Mehra, opened their first restaurant, Mehra’s Delicatessen, on McDermot Avenue across from Winnipeg’s Health Sciences Centre. The couple served a host of deli sandwiches — including the famous “Mehra’s Special” (5oz. of rolled corned beef and pastrami, topped with Sudha’s secret hot mustard and melted Swiss cheese). Kamal’s mother, Usha Mehra, immigrated to Canada a year later, and the family founded Winnipeg’s first North Indian restaurant, India Gardens, featuring all of Mrs.

Momo Spot

Momos are dumplings with some meat or vegetable filling. It is one of the most popular fast foods in Nepal. There are typically two types of momos - steamed or fried and they are served with achhar/chutney, a home-made dipping sauce made with tomato and chilli.
