Gongfu Bao

What used to be Ottawa’s kickass little bao cart is now a kickass shop, where they serve handcrafted steamed buns (bao) & a whole lot more. Chinese & Taiwanese culinary traditions are at the heart of how they craft their bao.  Gongfu Bao is dedicated to fair employment practices & responsible sourcing of their ingredients. Stofa Restaurant

Creative and inventive food in a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Stofa proudly supports local and sustainable products and participates in the farm and food community.

Before opening Stofa, Chef and Owner, Jason Sawision worked at Ottawa-based Atelier restaurant for six years, most recently as Chef de Cuisine. He competed with Marc Lepine and the Atelier team at the Canadian Culinary Championships in Kelowna, BC in 2012 and 2016, winning gold both times. Jason has been a professional chef for more than 15 years, and recently worked as a chef instructor at Algonquin College.
